Improdimensija records presents a compilation of audio recordings which was made in Dalius Naujokaitis three days residency at Improdimensija:

“I got very lucky in winter of 2018 during a jam session with Liudas Mockūnas, he offered me a three-day concert residency at the improvised music platform Improdimensija in Vilnius. I said yes immediately and started right away to put bands and musicians together, calling and asking if they were available on those dates. Luckily again some of the best Lithuanian and New York improvisers joined me:
Amaizing acoustic watercolour painter Gailė Griciūtė; sax acrobat-virtuoso Dovydas Stalmokas; amazing trumpeter and trombonist Dominykas Vyšniauskas; bone-solid bassist Aaron Keane (Mold)
Mėta Gabrielė Pelegrimaitė and Gintė Preisaitė! Wonderful young improvisers. It was the first time we ever played together. But it was so much fun to orchestrate and improvise. And we had really fine and subtle contact and humor in the music we made.
Liudas Mockūnas and Eugenijus Kanevičius. A lot of you know how strong and sensitive these musicians are. I love this trio. Fun to fly and land together with them (Traffic Trio).
Tomas Kutavičius, my old friend, and absolutely amazing pianist and composer. His piano playing is deep and beautiful. So good to make high-quality compositions with him, right on the spot.
My old New York friend Jonathon Haffner. His soulful sound, rhythm and wide passionate phrasing makes me play in a wider, stronger way. And to play with Tomas and Jonathon in one band was a real treat.
The great Gintas Gascevičius. Fantastic drummer, composer and improviser.
With Gintas we improvised by the score we wrote just before the concert. It came out unusually connected but with very undependent waves. No style or genre.
All those concerts and live recordings took place during my residency at improvised music platform  located at great Mama Studios in Vilnius.
All of the music we made at those evenings is very visual for me. It really makes me imagine some animation (not necessarily for children) – or some film or images. Of course for each person it will work differentely.” (D. Naujokaitis)
